Josh Miller
President
Josh Miller has spent all 17 years of his career at CMS, continuing a family legacy that spans four generations before him. It’s an honor to carry on the work his ancestors worked hard to establish, and the relationships he’s built with building owners and other contractors are what have kept him here. As President, he oversees the company’s day to day operations, administrative work, and business development.
Family First, to Josh, means understanding that employees have a life outside of work, and while CMS has a business to run, the company tries to stay understanding when things come up at home. He wishes clients understood how dependent the work is on weather. Schedules get built to the best of the team’s ability, but the weather can still force an audible. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Josh spends his time outside of work with his family, golfing, and watching Indiana Hoosiers sports. Faith and family come first for him, in that order.
Jordan Miller
Vice President
Jordan Miller grew up around CMS, back when his grandfather owned it. He left for six years to pursue other careers in other cities, but the pride of working for a company that’s been in his family for over 100 years drew him back. As Vice President, he handles estimating and project management, and helps shape where the company is headed.
For Jordan, a great day means the job runs smoothly, nobody gets hurt, and any surprises get handled fast enough that they never slow the project down. Family First, to him, means making sure people get home to their families every night when possible, and treating each other with respect. He especially likes working on older downtown buildings, where no two are alike and it’s like solving one big puzzle. Outside of work, he volunteers with his church’s youth ministry and spends his free time with his wife and daughter.
Jerad Ellet
Estimator / Project Manager
Jerad Ellet has spent over 8 years at CMS, drawn to a family owned company that focuses on taking care of its employees. As Estimator and Project Manager, he talks with customers, inspects and estimates potential roof projects, and manages the projects once they’re awarded.
To Jerad, Family First means CMS understands that families come first, and it shows in the company’s commitment to taking care of its people. He holds an OSHA 30 certification and especially enjoys working on standing seam metal roofs and metal wall panels. Jerad is from Fort Wayne and outside of work spends his time with family, working on cars, watching hockey, and enjoying the outdoors.
Megan Krider
Office Manager
Megan Krider has spent all 16 years of her career in roofing at CMS. She started part-time after being a stay-at-home mom and stayed because of the people she works with. As Office Manager, she keeps the office running, from accounts payable to the day-to-day paperwork that everything else depends on.
To Megan, Family First means her job is not the most important thing in her life. Her family is. CMS has always told her to take whatever time she needs when something comes up at home, and the team takes care of what needs to be done while she is away. Megan grew up in Churubusco and, outside of work, spends her time crafting, gardening, and researching her family’s genealogy.
